Job Title: Registered Nurse – CCU (LTAC ICU)

Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks)

Work Schedule: Night Shift – 3x12 Hours (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Location: Travelers Rest, SC

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with Critical Care experience to work in a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) ICU setting. The ideal candidate will provide care to medically complex patients requiring extended hospitalization and specialized treatments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in an LTAC ICU environment
• Manage ventilated patients and support vent weaning
• Perform wound care and manage patients with tracheostomy and PEG tubes
• Monitor patient condition and respond to changes appropriately
• Administer medications and treatments using electronic systems
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Float to other units as required based on patient care needs

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state-specific)
• Experience in ICU, CCU, or LTAC setting preferred
• Strong critical care and patient management skills
• Experience with EPIC EMR (minimum 1 year required)
• Familiarity with medication administration systems (e.g., Omnicell)

Certifications:

• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
