In this role, you’ll be responsible for populating, wiring, and quality-checking industrial control panels used in cryogenic applications. This is a workshop-based position where precision, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of low-voltage electrical systems are essential.
What You’ll Do
- Populate and wire industrial control panels from engineering schematics and wiring diagrams
- Perform thorough quality control checks on completed panel assemblies
- Install and terminate components including relays, contactors, terminal blocks, circuit breakers, and power supplies
- Route, label, and dress wiring to professional standards
- Identify and troubleshoot wiring issues during the build and QC process
- Collaborate with engineering and production management to ensure panels meet specifications for cryogenic system requirements
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
- Build electrical assemblies from components, including fan speed controllers and LED signs
- Perform minor fabrication tasks using basic hand tools, such as cutting sheet metal and wall-mounting components
What We’re Looking For
Experience is highly valued but not essential — the right attitude, willingness to learn, and a solid foundation matter most.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Experience building, wiring, or troubleshooting industrial control panels
- Understanding of low-voltage electrical systems (e.g., automotive electrical work, relay logic, contactors, 24V DC systems)
- An understanding of refrigeration or HVAC basics is highly desirable
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Familiarity with common panel components: relays, contactors, terminal blocks, DIN rail equipment, PLCs
- Experience with wire crimping, ferrules, labeling, and cable management
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to quality control
Bonus Points:
- Background in cryogenic, refrigeration, or process control systems
- Experience working with UL 508A or similar panel standards
- Familiarity with electrical testing tools (multimeter, megger, continuity testers)
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting rate of $25/hr during trial period, with pay adjusted based on demonstrated skill and experience
- Health, vision, and life insurance
- Ongoing training and professional development opportunities
Growth Opportunity
This isn’t a dead-end position. We’re a growing startup, and there is a clear path to advance into a Lead Technician role for the right person. We also install all our own equipment on client sites, so there are opportunities to travel for work across the US.
How to Apply
Send your resume and a brief note about your relevant experience to ken@enthim.com. We’re happy to hear from anyone who’s motivated and hands-on, even if your background is non-traditional.
