As a General Production Worker, you will have the opportunity to work in various areas within the warehouse. Your initial training will involve organizing and storing stock, which includes trim and doors. You will also be trained in the process of door hanging, which requires the use of hand and power tools, a manual router, and the ability to read tape measures. Additionally, you may assist as a helper on delivery routes, supporting full-time employees in delivering materials to sites. The MAIN responsibility is going to be delivering the doors with a helper to customers and job sites. You will need a clean motor vehicle record, must have customer services skills and willing to do the above tasks when you are not on the road.
Responsibilities
- Put away stock, including trim and doors, in the warehouse.
- Use hand and power tools, as well as a manual router, for door hanging.
- Read tape measures accurately and handle lifting tasks up to 75 pounds.
- Stand and work at a fast pace for 8 hours a day, often collaborating with 1-2 team members.
- Assist with material delivery as a helper on routes.
Essential Skills
- At least 6 months of experience with hand or power tools.
- Ability to bring steel-toed boots, a hammer, and a tape measure on the first day.
- Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to speak clearly and loudly.
- Proficiency in reading a tape measure.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in wood cutting, nail gun operation, wood stacking, and documentation.
- Capability to perform assigned tasks safely and efficiently.

Work Environment
The work environment is a clean warehouse with a casual dress code. The team consists of 6-8 members working with wood in a controlled temperature setting.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $47840.00/yr.
