Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position requires a Certified and Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services to students in an elementary and middle school setting, serving grades K-8. The role is based in Colorado Springs, CO, and offers a full-time contract opportunity with a weekly schedule of 37.5 hours from 7:15 am to 3:15 pm. The ideal candidate will bring specialized skills in working within school environments and be equipped to manage a diverse caseload across both elementary and middle school levels.
Key Qualifications:
- Certified and Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Experience working in elementary and/or middle school settings
- Skilled in assessing and providing therapy to children in grades K-8
- Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with educators and families
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students K-8
- Conduct assessments and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to support student communication needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and state regulations
- Participate in team meetings and professional development as required
