Work Schedule:
- Primarily daylight, weekday hours with 8- and 12-hour shifts!
- Rotating weekend, overnight, and holiday coverage.
- Infrequent on-call hours, if needed.

Responsibilities:
- Covers call and off-shifts on a rotational basis.
- Performs a variety of technical ultrasound procedures to assist in a patient’s medical diagnosis.
- Displays knowledge of equipment operations, anatomy, and scanning techniques resulting in optimized image data/documentation.
- Documents and considers patient history, laboratory data, and physical findings.
- Ensures all exams are properly coded and networked through appropriate systems, and ensures all charges are correct for exams performed.
- Assists with training staff, student sonographers, and physicians.
- May be responsible for High Level Disinfection of devices, supplies, and/or equipment.
- Demonstrates ability to interact with both patients and co-workers, displaying a high level of caring, listening, dignity, and respect.
- Completion of formal training in an Ultrasound program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) required, or RDMS registered.
- RDMS registered or registry eligible.
- Must have completed Physics portion of RDMS registry.
- 2 years of ultrasound experience preferred.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
- RDMS registered or registry eligible.
- Must have completed Physics portion of registry.
- Must obtain RDMS in Pediatric Ultrasound within 24 months of hire date.
- Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting, Act 33, Act 34, and Act 73 FBI clearances with renewals.

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
