Requirements
- Active AZ RN license
- Minimum 1–2 years of recent PACU or critical care experience
- Current BLS certification (ACLS and PALS preferred, based on facility requirements)
- Current TB results
- Updated resume with relevant PACU, critical care, or perioperative experience
- Valid Driver’s License or U.S. Passport
- Two professional references
- Background check and drug screening required
- Fingerprinting (as required by state/facility)

Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia following surgical or procedural interventions
- Monitor airway, breathing, circulation, and level of consciousness
- Assess and manage post-operative pain, nausea, and other complications
- Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered
- Identify and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with anesthesia providers, surgeons, and perioperative teams
- Ensure safe discharge criteria are met and provide patient/family education
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and facility policies
