Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Elevator Apprentice to assist with the installation, maintenance, repair, and modernization of commercial and residential elevator systems throughout Florida.

The Elevator Apprentice works under the supervision of a licensed Elevator Mechanic and is responsible for supporting all aspects of field operations while maintaining strict safety standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist with elevator installation, modernization, and repairs
Work alongside experienced mechanics
Learn different elevator systems
Work on commercial and residential job sites
Follow strict safety standards

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift 75+ pounds regularly
Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
Frequent standing, bending, climbing, and kneeling
Ability to work in indoor and outdoor job site environments

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required
Valid Florida driver’s license
Reliable transportation
Strong mechanical aptitude
Ability to pass background screening and drug test
Construction, electrical, HVAC, or mechanical experience is a plus
