We are seeking a hands-on, adaptable R&D Automation Technician to join an innovative manufacturing team. This role is ideal for a resourceful, mechanically inclined individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes ownership of building, deploying, and supporting automation systems. You will work closely with a small, highly collaborative team focused on developing and implementing cutting-edge technologies.



Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with project managers and software developers to support automation initiatives
  • Execute assigned tasks and contribute to project completion
  • Select, integrate, and deploy automation technologies
  • Assemble, install, and maintain mechanical and electrical components
  • Troubleshoot issues and respond to support requests
  • Test new ideas, systems, and technologies
  • Create and maintain documentation for deployment and support processes
  • Implement updates, revisions, and system improvements


Required Qualifications

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with tools and equipment
  • Experience in a manufacturing and machining setting
  • Experience with electronics, including wiring, soldering, and use of diagnostic tools such as multimeters
  • Comfortable working around machinery with a strong understanding of safety practices
  • Solid computer skills, including basic networking knowledge
  • Ability to learn independently and solve problems without formal training
  • Highly adaptable with a willingness to take on a wide variety of tasks
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Quick thinker with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
  • Comfortable working with hands-on tasks in a technical environment
