Abel’s Lobster is a local, independent waterfront restaurant offering excellent service and modern Maine cuisine and from its scratch-made kitchen.
Are you a skilled leader with a passion for the restaurant industry? We are seeking an experienced Restaurant General Manager to join our team. As the leader of our establishment, you will be responsible for overseeing operations and ensuring exceptional customer service. The GM is also expected to motivate and inspire staff, clearly communicate expectations, provide regular and consistent feedback and maintain a pleasant work environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily restaurant operations, including managing staff, inventory, and financials

Maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and overall customer satisfaction.

Train and mentor team members to deliver outstanding service and uphold company values

Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Restaurant General Manager in a fast-paced, high-volume dining establishment.

Strong leadership and organizational skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Willingness to learn and grow

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, nights and holidays.
