Summary of Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility for Parts Counter Sales is to provide timely and professional customer service to Kenco Hydraulics customers. Excellent customer service is key to success and this role will expand to include inside sales responsibilities as part of career development.
Job Duties Include:
• Greet walk-in customers in a polite & professional manner.
• Look up and sell parts to the customer.
• Learn companies ERP system (Epicor/prophet 21)
• Manufacture hose assemblies, tubing, and other assemblies as needed.
• Answer incoming phone calls as needed.
• Write up and coordinate with service repair business that is brought in.
• Work with outside and inside sales to help better serve our customers.
• Achieve productivity and sales goals.
• Maintain a clean, organized work station and showroom.
• Replenish parts bins if necessary.
• Assist with mentoring and training of new hires in the same department.
• Attend product training and seminars if available.
• Possibly work Saturdays as part of a rotation schedule.
• Work with all departments to create a friendly, inviting and positive team environment.
• Other duties assigned by Management.
