Duties
- Collaborate with customers to identify their plumbing needs and recommend suitable products or solutions
- Assist in measuring, estimating, and quoting plumbing projects accurately and efficiently
- Demonstrate product features and benefits clearly, ensuring customers understand their options
- Support installation teams by providing technical guidance on construction plumbing, pipe threading, and schematic interpretation
- Conduct site inspections to assess existing plumbing systems, identify potential issues, and suggest remodeling or repair strategies
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to assist with troubleshooting or minor repairs as needed
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, sales activities, and project specifications
- Drive company vehicles responsibly for site visits or deliveries related to plumbing supplies or equipment
Experience
- Proven experience working on construction sites with a focus on plumbing or mechanical systems
- Strong knowledge of construction plumbing techniques, schematics, and blueprint reading
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting procedures, and safety protocols on construction sites
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and estimations accurately
- Prior handyman experience or involvement in assembly projects adds value to your skill set
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or ability to operate company vehicles safely is preferred
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude combined with excellent communication skills for customer interactions
