Robert Half Finance & Accounting has partnered with an organization in St. Louis seeking a full-time CFO. The CFO will also work with other executives and must be able to work in a team environment with a high attention to detail/organization along with possessing good communication/leadership skills to manage and develop the accounting department.
CFO Responsibilities:
· Oversee all core accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and internal controls
· Lead budgeting and forecasting efforts while contributing to strategic planning for key initiatives
· Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
· Direct month‑end and year‑end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting
· Deliver financial analysis and management reporting to support informed decision‑making
· Supervise, mentor, and support the accounting team to drive performance and development
CFO Minimum Qualifications:
· Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA strongly preferred
· 10+ years of full-cycle accounting experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibility
· Intermediate Excel skills and experience working within an ERP system
