-Provided daily care for production mice in laboratory and barn settings, including feeding, watering, cage cleaning, and cage wash operations.
-Assisted with animal husbandry and cross-trained in ascites production procedures such as immunizations, ascites collection, inventory management, and computerized recordkeeping.
-Maintained strict compliance with animal welfare regulations and followed detailed technical documentation and production protocols.
-Worked full-time in a fast-paced production environment requiring strong attention to detail, reliability, and adherence to safety and background screening requirements.
Job Requirements:
-High school diploma or equivalent required; prior animal or farm experience preferred but not mandatory.
-Able to follow technical documents and work instructions while working independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
-Skilled in basic computer use, data entry, and handling repetitive physical tasks involving animal care equipment and tools.
-Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in varying weather conditions.
