Job DescriptionAccounts Receivable Specialist – Direct Hire
Location: North Austin, TX (Hybrid Schedule)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Pay: $26–$28 per hour
About the Role
LHH is partnering with a well-established client in North Austin to hire an Accounts Receivable Specialist. This role focuses on accounts receivable, credit, and cash application functions and offers growth potential into leadership or management.
Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with collections and sales teams to resolve past due and disputed items while maintaining strong customer relationships

Investigate and resolve unexplained deductions and duplicate payments

Review lien and bond filing dates to ensure AR portfolio collectability

Recommend collection actions to management for approval

Apply incoming payments (checks, ACH, credit cards) to customer invoices and resolve discrepancies

Reconcile daily bank statements with posted transactions

Support cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning
Qualifications
-
5+ years of accounts receivable experience in a large company environment

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Strong ownership of processes and ability to work independently

Excellent communication and decision-making skills
