Radiation Oncology Therapist
\n
Job Details:
\n
• Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM depending on patient load
\n • 40 guaranteed hours per week
\n • Minimum 5 years of experience in external beam radiation therapy patient treatment delivery required
\n • Deliver external beam radiation therapy patient treatments on Varian TrueBeam and Elekta Infinity treatment machines
\n • Use Mosaiq record and verify treatment record system for charting
\n • Work alongside at least one other therapist on each treatment machine - therapists do not work alone on treatment machines
\n • Treat patients daily as a locum Radiation Therapist
\n • Dedicated to Radiation Oncology department only - no floating to other departments
\n • Outpatient clinic setting with no bed size requirement
\n • Weekends not required unless rare occurrence of machine downtime during the week
\n • Dress code: Business casual or scrubs, no open-toed shoes, facility-provided T-shirt or scrub top
\n • No specific scrub color requirement
\n • Required certifications: ARRT, BLS (AHA)

This outpatient Radiation Oncology clinic operates as an acute care setting providing comprehensive cancer treatment services. The facility is equipped with advanced radiation therapy technology and utilizes a modern electronic charting system. The department maintains a dedicated team of experienced radiation therapists focused exclusively on delivering high-quality external beam radiation therapy treatments to oncology patients.
