Job Title: Senior Digital Marketing Specialist

Reports to: Vice President of Content Production and Digital Monetization
Position Purpose:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Digital Marketing Specialist to take ownership of our organic digital channels and targeted marketing initiatives. This role is hands-on, execution-driven, and central to driving customer engagement, audience growth, and digital revenue opportunities.
You will manage and optimize SEO, email marketing, and web content strategies while collaborating closely with agencies responsible for paid media. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise, creative execution, and a sharp focus on performance and results.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital Strategy and Execution
- Develop and execute SEO strategies to increase organic traffic, keyword rankings, and domain authority.
- Manage the creation, publishing, and optimization of web content to align with marketing campaigns and improve site engagement.
- Design and execute segmented email marketing campaigns, marketing automation journeys, and lead nurturing programs.
Campaign Management and Optimization
- Coordinate with external agencies to oversee and optimize paid digital advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Meta, etc).
- Manage audience targeting and retargeting strategies across platforms.
- Implement A/B testing across email, landing pages, and content.
Analytics and Reporting
- Measure and report performance of all owned digital marketing channels against KPIs, including traffic, engagement, conversion, and revenue metrics.
- Use Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, MS Clarity, and CRM/email platforms (e.g., Mailchimp) to track and analyze user behavior and campaign results.
- Translate data insights into actionable recommendations to continuously improve performance.
Website Management
- Manage day-to-day website content updates through CMS platforms (Strapi).
- Ensure the website experience is optimized for SEO, UX, accessibility, and lead conversion.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors on major updates, optimizations, and new feature deployments.
Website Product Ownership Support
- Act as the primary marketing liaison to the website development team, helping to identify, prioritize, and define website backlog items that drive marketing initiatives, optimize performance, and maintain compliance.
- Draft clear requirements and acceptance criteria for website enhancements, working closely with developers, designers, and QA teams to support successful and timely releases.
- Collaborate with UX and analytics teams to uncover user friction points and recommend data-driven improvements to customer engagement and digital experiences.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the internal teams and agency to ensure marketing initiatives align with broader business goals.
- Maintain consistent brand messaging across all digital properties.
Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with:
- SEO tools (SEMRush, Ahrefs, Moz, or similar)
- CMS platforms (e.g., Strapi, WordPress)
- Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager
- Email platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot)
- Proven ability to manage paid media campaigns through agency partnerships.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing metrics, conversion funnels, and lead generation.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Clear, concise communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Experience and/or Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in digital marketing with a strong focus on SEO, email marketing, and web content management.

Culture:
Team members are in the office five days per week, 8am to 5pm at the Scottsdale, AZ headquarters. During live events the company largely travels together to produce and ensure each event is a success. This requires weekend work and long hours.
