This is a remote position.


Basic Function

The Jr. Project Analyst supports Cost Segregation, Sales, Finance, and Engineering teams by reviewing project intake details, confirming scope, preparing pricing, and developing preliminary benefit analysis estimates. This role ensures project assumptions are accurate, pricing is aligned, and scope is clearly defined prior to engineering review.


Position’s Intention

This role is responsible for preparing accurate and timely Benefit Analyses (BAs) by evaluating real estate data, construction documentation, and tax-related materials, helping set appropriate client expectations and ensuring financial feasibility.


Success Measurements

  • Complete Benefit Analyses accurately and within expected turnaround timelines
  • Identify risks, gaps, or scope issues early in the intake process
  • Communicate effectively with Sales, Engineering, and leadership
  • Improve workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Demonstrate continuous growth in technical knowledge and ownership


Essential Duties

  • Determine appropriate and competitive pricing for cost segregation studies based on project scope, available documentation, and internal pricing guidelines.
  • Estimate projected tax deductions and anticipated client benefit for cost segregation opportunities.
  • Review construction cost details, plans, real estate data, tax documentation, and other project materials during intake to support pricing, scope confirmation, and Benefit Analysis preparation.
  • Confirm project scope and identify missing documentation, scope issues, or project-specific considerations that may impact pricing, benefit estimates, or Engineering review.
  • Complete Benefit Analyses (“BAs”) for incoming requests within the expected 24-hour turnaround period, when sufficient project information is available.
  • Consult with the Lead Engineer or other appropriate internal resources when questions arise regarding project scope, construction documentation, or BA assumptions.
  • Provide ongoing input on workflows, tools, and processes to improve department productivity, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Other duties as assigned




Requirements

Required Skills:

  • Ability to review and interpret construction documentation, cost details, and related project information
  • Ability to manage multiple requests and shift between tasks efficiently
  • Resourceful, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work across multiple departments

Education/Certification/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or related field) or equivalent experience


Language & Communication Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to clearly communicate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders


Reasoning & Analytical Skills:

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities
  • Ability to evaluate incomplete information and exercise sound judgment
  • High attention to detail and accuracy


Computer/Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office Suite
  • Experience with PDF editing tools; familiarity with CRM systems or Zoho a plus
