Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Director of Finance to join a dynamic and expanding retail organization based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this role, you will be responsible for spearheading financial planning and analysis (FP& A) functions, driving process improvements, and building a high-performing finance team. This position requires adaptability, strong leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Responsibilities:
• Lead the development and execution of the company's financial planning and analysis (FP& A) strategy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Oversee the creation and management of annual budgets, ensuring accuracy and strategic allocation of resources.
• Drive month-end close processes and ensure timely preparation of financial reports.
• Develop and refine cash flow forecasts to support long-term financial sustainability.
• Build and lead a high-performing finance team, mentoring staff and fostering a culture of excellence.
• Design and implement financial models to support business forecasting and strategic decision-making.
• Establish and enhance budgeting processes to improve efficiency and data accuracy.
• Influence key stakeholders and provide actionable insights to support business growth.
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations and enhance financial reporting capabilities.• Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, with a focus on FP& A, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Proven ability to thrive in an ambiguous and fast-changing environment.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in building and managing high-performing teams.
• Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and long-range financial planning.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and refine cash flow forecasts and budgeting processes.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Track record of process creation and improvement in finance operations.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; advanced degree or certification preferred.
