About the Opportunity:
Paramount Home Health Care is currently seeking a dedicated, experienced Pediatric Caregiver to support a 21-year-old young man with autism in a home setting in Tampa, Florida. While the client is a young adult, the care approach aligns closely with pediatric-style support, requiring patience, structure, and guidance skills.

What Youll Do:
In this role, you will provide hands-on support while promoting independence, safety, and emotional stability in a structured environment. Duties include:

• Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
• Providing behavioral support, redirection, and de-escalation techniques when needed
• Implementing structured routines and engaging activities appropriate for autism care
• Supporting meal preparation and feeding assistance if required
• Completing light housekeeping tasks related to the clients care
• Maintaining a calm, safe, and respectful environment at all times
• Encouraging positive interactions and communication development

What Were Looking For:

• Experience with pediatric care, autism, or behavioral clients is REQUIRED
• Strong ability to stay calm, patient, and assertive in challenging situations
• Confident in setting boundaries and using redirection techniques
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to consistency
• Professional, compassionate, and detail-oriented
• Ability to follow care plans and document services accurately
