Position Tasks & Duties
-
Assist customers in selecting appropriate eyewear and lenses
-
Provide information on eyewear care and maintenance
-
Ensure accurate fitting and adjustments of glasses
-
Submitting paperwork to insurance
-
Contact lens education, teaching patients how to put in contacts
-
Support sales by explaining product features and benefits
-
Maintain a clean and organized workstation
-
General office duties, including but not limited to: Answering phones, scheduling appointments, ordering contacts, pulling and understanding insurance benefits, scanning files into software, and general customer service duties
-
Remaining HIPAA compliant
Position Shift Details
-
40 hour work week with general 8AM - 6PM schedule, some fluctuation on weekdays once per week
-
Monday - Friday,rotating Saturdays as needed
Position Requirements
-
Previous clerical or office setting experience

Customer service experience
-
Computer skills
-
High school diploma or equivalent required
-
Basic sales skills and experience
-
Attention to detail
