Job Description:
We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to support an industrial manufacturing facility. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, handling inquiries, processing orders, and providing updates to ensure excellent service. The ideal candidate will be reliable, organized, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with both internal teams and external customers.
Responsibilities:
• Answer incoming calls and emails regarding orders, shipments, and product details
• Process customer orders accurately in the system
• Provide timely updates on order status, shipping, and product availability
• Resolve customer concerns by working with production, shipping, and sales teams
• Maintain accurate customer records and documentation
• Support general office and administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications and Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED required; college coursework a plus
• Previous customer service experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data entry systems
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail
