Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Valid Texas state licensure as an SLP and certification of clinical competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Strong understanding of current theories, research, and best practices in speech-language pathology.
- Experience working with diverse student populations and a demonstrated commitment to cultural competence.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
Location:
- Schertz, TX (Elementary School setting)
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments to students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students communication goals.
- Facilitate direct therapy services in-person, ensuring effective intervention.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and outcomes.
- Engage in testing and supervision as required, contributing to a supportive educational environment.
