An opportunity exists for a Registered Nurse with Operating Room expertise to support a busy surgical unit on a contract basis. This role caters to experienced professionals looking to apply their skills in a dynamic, technology-driven environment with a focus on elective surgical cases.

Located in Aurora, CO, this assignment offers the chance to work as part of a dedicated team in a state-of-the-art setting, equipped with advanced OR technology. The unit consists of 23 operating rooms and a skilled staff of approximately 70 professionals, delivering specialized care with a patient ratio of 1:1. The role primarily supports day shifts, with hours typically from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in elective surgical procedures, including Orthopedics, Spine, General Surgery, Cardiovascular, Plastics, Gynecology, Robotics, and Urology.
  • Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to maintain high standards of patient care.
  • Utilize Meditech EMR for documentation and patient management.
  • Adapt to schedule variations and contribute to a team-focused, trauma-free environment.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional nursing experience in an Operating Room setting.
  • Experience or interest in Orthopedic and Spine surgical procedures is preferred.
  • Cardiovascular surgery experience is a plus.
  • Flexible and adaptable personality with a commitment to outstanding patient care.
