CNB Bank & Trust is seeking a self-motivated commercial lender to join our Clayton Commercial Banking team. This person must possess portfolio management skills and be willing to go above and beyond for their clients. Requires a bachelor’s degree in a business-related field and 5+ years of commercial lending experience. Salary commensurate with experience; excellent benefit package.
Major Responsibilities:
• Learn to originate, underwrite, and close all types of loans, primarily secured commercial, industrial, and commercial real estate loans
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with existing and potential customers
• Focus on business development
• Maintain a working knowledge of the Bank’s products and services in order to refer customers and potential customers to branch personnel
Abilities Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field and/or one to two years of banking experience and/or training
• Able to understand customers’ needs and to communicate well with them
• Able to analyze financial data and use good judgment in making recommendations
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently
• Able to quickly learn and master our loan policies, programs, and procedures
• Sales-oriented and skilled at business development
• Above-average math skills; basic PC skills
Work Schedule: This full-time position is scheduled for approximately 40 hours per week. The position is exempt and is not eligible for overtime.
