Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This travel position offers the opportunity to work as a Special Education teacher in an elementary school setting in Lincolnton, North Carolina. You will serve an adaptive separate classroom supporting a caseload of eight students, helping to foster their educational growth and development. This full-time role spans the current school year and involves working across two schools within the district, providing variety and valuable experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs.
• Deliver specialized instruction in a supportive, adaptive classroom environment.
• Collaborate closely with classroom aides and related service providers who assist in student supervision and support.
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
• Maintain clear and ongoing communication with families and school staff.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid North Carolina Special Education teaching license.
• Experience working with elementary-aged students in special education settings.
