As part of our CARES-giver team, you will help expand our impact in the community by providing access to high quality, compassionate care.

Here's a sneak peek at what you'll do:

  • Provide routine/annual exams and sick visitsalong withpreventative screenings and care
  • Provide comprehensive prenatal, labor, and postpartum care to pregnant individuals
  • Conduct physical examinations and assessments of pregnantindividuals,including monitoringfetal development and maternal health throughout pregnancy
  • Educate and counsel pregnant individuals on prenatal care, nutrition, and childbirth preparation
  • Assistwith labor and delivery, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and providing emotional support
  • Perform newborn assessments and provide postpartum care to both the newborn and the mother
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensureoptimalpatient care
    andmaintainaccurateand detailed medical records of patient interactions and progress
  • Counsel and educate patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatmentoptionsand community resources
  • Perform office-based procedures
  • Work with a diverse, underserved patient population in the heart of Dallas

What you need to succeed

To become one of our CARES-givers, you will have excellent patient engagement, strong communication skills and an eye for continuous improvement. You will also have the following:

  • BSN and/or NPand/oractive license to practice as a Midwifeand/orGraduate of ACNM-accredited Certified Nurse Midwifery Education Program required, along with national board-certification in midwiferyfrom an accredited school of nursing or equivalent; current RN or NP license to practice in the state of Texas
  • Registered and have current DEA, DPS and other such certificates to legallyoperateas a practitioner in the State of Texas or be able to obtain
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience
  • Basic Life Support and Neonatal Resuscitation Program certificationsrequired
  • Excellent patient engagement and communication skills
  • Experience in community health centers and/or non-profits is preferred
  • Experience serving multicultural and multilingual patient populations
  • Experience with eClinicalWorks or similar
  • MS Office Suite skills (Outlook, Teams, Word,PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Have a servant heart with the desire to make a positive impact
