Compensation: $90,000 – $105,000 (Depending on experience)

We are seeking an experienced Global Demand Planner to own the forecasting process for our global product portfolio. In this role, you will develop accurate, data-driven demand plans; optimize inventory across regions; and ensure alignment between Sales, Operations, Finance, and Product. You will play a critical role in SprintRay’s S&OP process, balancing supply chain efficiency with customer satisfaction in a rapidly scaling environment.
This position requires strong analytical capability, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, high-growth setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Demand Planning & Forecasting
- Build, manage, and continuously refine short-, mid-, and long-term product-level forecasts for global regions.
- Analyze historical data, sales trends, seasonality, market insights, and promotional activity to generate accurate forecasts.
- Own weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecast submissions and performance reporting.
- Monitor forecast accuracy, demand variability, and bias; drive continuous improvement to achieve target KPIs.
- Set and maintain optimal inventory levels across global distribution centers to meet service-level targets while minimizing excess and obsolescence.
- Partner with Supply Planning to ensure capacity, production schedules, and material availability align with demand requirements.
- Track inventory KPIs (DOH, turns, E&O risk) and develop corrective action plans.
- Serve as the key demand planning representative in SprintRay’s S&OP process, presenting insights, risks, and opportunities to leadership.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product Management, and Operations to ensure alignment on product strategies, promotions, and revenue expectations.
- Challenge assumptions and drive data-backed alignment across teams.
- Support new product introductions (NPIs), transitions, phase-ins, and phase-outs with clear demand signals and scenario planning.
- Partner with Product and Marketing on launch plans and demand ramp models.
- Maintain accurate data in forecasting and ERP systems; ensure system-driven processes are reliable and scalable.
- Produce weekly, monthly, and quarterly demand and inventory reports for leadership and key stakeholders.
- Leverage advanced planning tools, dashboards, and analytics to inform decision-making.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase forecasting accuracy and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Analytics, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain analytics experience; global planning experience strongly preferred.
- Expertise in forecasting methodologies and experience owning end-to-end demand plans.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in Excel and forecasting tools.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent).
- Ability to interpret and translate large data sets into meaningful insights and action plans.
- Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to cross-functional teams and leadership.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience supporting high-growth companies or rapidly changing supply chains.
- Understanding of S&OP processes and demand planning best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- APICS CPIM, CSCP, or similar certification.
- Experience in medical devices, dental, hardware, or consumer electronics.
- Experience with high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environments.
- Experience planning across multiple regional markets with differing lead times and regulatory landscapes.
- Strong SQL or data-modeling skills.
- Prolonged periods of computer work and data analysis.
- Occasional travel (≈5%) for global coordination, supplier visits, or cross-functional meetings.
- Must be able to communicate clearly in virtual and in-person meetings.
