Description

Our client is seeking a Tax Preparer to join a fast-growing team of tax professionals with an excellent opportunity to learn and add significant value. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review personal federal and state tax returns.
  • Assist with the preparation of quarterly/periodic estimated tax calculations.
  • Research tax notices from federal/state agencies and prepare written correspondence as needed.
  • Participates actively in client meetings and tax planning sessions.
  • Use a broad range of tax tools and techniques to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  • Stay current on regulatory changes related to tax code.
  • Supports corporate culture from a learning and team-building perspective.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Enrolled Agent (EA) certification preferred but not required.
  • Experience with some or all of the following: CCH Axcess Tax, CCH Axcess Workflow, TaxCaddy, SurePrep.
  • Experience with HNW (high-net-worth) clients required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be highly organized, technically strong, and an enthusiastic, effective team player.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to self-start, take initiative, work collaboratively, and drive results.
  • Experience with Excel/Word/Outlook/Salesforce/PowerPoint, with an emphasis on Excel.
