Description

Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and review personal federal and state tax returns.
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly/periodic estimated tax calculations.
- Research tax notices from federal/state agencies and prepare written correspondence as needed.
- Participates actively in client meetings and tax planning sessions.
- Use a broad range of tax tools and techniques to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Stay current on regulatory changes related to tax code.
- Supports corporate culture from a learning and team-building perspective.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Enrolled Agent (EA) certification preferred but not required.
- Experience with some or all of the following: CCH Axcess Tax, CCH Axcess Workflow, TaxCaddy, SurePrep.
- Experience with HNW (high-net-worth) clients required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be highly organized, technically strong, and an enthusiastic, effective team player.
- Ability to think strategically and creatively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to self-start, take initiative, work collaboratively, and drive results.
- Experience with Excel/Word/Outlook/Salesforce/PowerPoint, with an emphasis on Excel.
