Salary Range: $86,000 - $126,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for raw materials, components, and MRO.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable conditions.
• Manage supplier relationships, performance, and risk to ensure a reliable and high-quality supply chain.
• Collaborate with production and planning teams to optimize inventory levels and material availability.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives in purchasing processes and supplier management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements in all purchasing activities.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the purchasing team to enhance their skills and performance.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in purchasing, with at least 2 years in a management capacity within a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CPSM) preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and strong analytical skills for cost analysis and inventory optimization.
• Proven ability to develop and implement purchasing strategies that align with manufacturing operational goals and cost reduction targets.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and supply chain best practices.

Bonus Qualifications

• Professional certification such as CPSM, CSCP, or CPIM.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency in advanced ERP/MRP system modules or implementation projects.
• Demonstrated experience with international sourcing and logistics.
• Ability to leverage data analytics tools for strategic purchasing decisions.
