A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Full-Time On-Site Specialty Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician in Pittsburgh, PA!

Pharmacy Technician Compensation
- The pay for this position is $22.00/hr
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Pharmacy Technician Highlights
- This position is a contract assignment with potential for permanent hire based on attendance, performance, and business needs
- The required availability for this position Monday–Friday 11:30am-8:00pm
Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities
· Operate automated machinery, sort medications, and manage inventory workflow with a focus on quality control.
· Count and fill prescriptions, affix labels, pack and ship orders. Maintain a clean, organized work area and machinery.
· Resolve third-party prescription rejects by reviewing, gathering information, making corrections, and resubmitting according to plan requirements.
· Assist pharmacists on-site and remotely, identifying and escalating issues to senior staff as needed.
· Process new patient registration using prescription data entry procedures, handle refill requests, troubleshoot missing prescription information, and interpret medical abbreviations (SIG codes).
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Pharmacy Technician Requirements
- PA Pharmacy Technician License is required
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- 2+ years of experience as a licensed Pharmacy Technician
- Basic PC skills: start/shut down computer, use mouse, switch between programs, save/print files, access online information.
- Basic search engine skills: navigate browsers, type URLs, fill out online forms.
- Intermediate keyboarding skills (≥25 WPM, touch typing, document formatting).
- Physically able to push, pull, grasp, lift (up to 50 lbs) with or without accommodation.
- Flexible and willing to work assigned shifts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of pharmacy technician experience in retail, fulfillment, or call center environment.
- Experience providing customer service to internal/external customers while meeting quality and productivity standards.
- Pharmacy Technician certification or registration (state or nationally recognized).
- Intermediate to advanced keyboarding skills (≥35 WPM, touch typing, formatting documents).
