Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services in a variety of school environments, adapting interventions to diverse student needs across age groups.
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized therapy plans, and set measurable goals for students, fostering greater independence and participation.
- Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to design and implement strategies that enhance educational outcomes.
- Maintain documentation, progress notes, and compliance with Individualized Education Program (IEP) requirements and state guidelines.
- Adapt activities and learning materials to ensure accessibility and promote student engagement.
Qualifications:
- Possession of an active Colorado Department of Education certification.
- Current Colorado Occupational Therapy license.
- Experience in a school-based or pediatric OT setting is preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
- Adaptable and enthusiastic about working with school-aged children and multidisciplinary teams.
Additional Details:
- Position begins August 6, 2026, and continues through May 26, 2027.
- Standard hours are 37.5 per week, Monday through Friday.
- Number and locations of school assignments will be determined during the placement process.
- Schools and caseload details will be finalized closer to the start date.
