Job Details:
\n
• Provide nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex under general supervision
\n• Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients
\n• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments
\n• Assist physicians in patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures
\n• Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients and intervene when necessary
\n• Administer medications as prescribed
\n• Initiate, regulate and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products
\n• Interact with families and patients regarding care plans during hospitalization and at discharge
\n• Make referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel
\n• Delegate tasks to support staff
\n• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
\n• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required
\n• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
\n• Required certifications: Current RN License issued by Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or multistate compact RN License (eNLC), Basic Life Support (AHA), ACLS (AHA)
\n• Strong verbal and written communication skills required
\n• Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors
\n• Computer skills required
