About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic aerospace manufacturing team in Farmingdale. This role is critical in driving process improvements, ensuring product quality, and supporting production efficiency in a fast-paced, precision-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods and processes.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to optimize product manufacturability.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
- Analyze workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout for optimal production.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain documentation for manufacturing processes and quality standards.
- Support new product introductions and process validations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably aerospace.
- Strong knowledge of CAD software and manufacturing process design.
- Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO 9001 quality standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
