Potential Opportunity: Therapeutic Radiation Therapist (TRT)
Location: Puget Sound VA Health Care System Seattle, WA
Schedule: MondayFriday | 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Join a mission-driven oncology team providing care to Veterans at the VA Puget Sound Health Care System. Were looking for a skilled Therapeutic Radiation Therapist (TRT) to deliver high-quality radiation therapy in a collaborative, professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Treat 1525 patients daily using Varian TrueBeam systems
- Perform 3D-CRT, IMRT, IGRT, VMAT, CBCT, and SRS/SBRT procedures
- Conduct CT simulations, image guidance, and SGRT (VisionRT preferred)
- Maintain accurate records in ARIA EMR and follow all safety protocols
- Assist in patient positioning, immobilization, and transport
- Ensure timely and accurate dose delivery per oncologist prescription
Qualifications:
- Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiation Therapy program
- Certified by ARRT in Radiation Therapy
- BLS certified (AHA or Military Training Network)
- 3+ years of experience with:
- Radiation oncology equipment (preferably Varian TrueBeam)
- Treatment planning and delivery (IMRT, IGRT, 3D-CRT)
- ARIA EMR & GE CT Simulator
