Dispatcher – Moving Company (Operations Control Role)
Company: Working Men Moving LLC
Location: San Ramon, CA (Remote to start → In-office transition required)
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $20/hr (Growth opportunities based on performance)
About the Role
Working Men Moving is a fast-growing moving company looking for a high-performance Dispatcher to run the day-to-day operations of our moving crews.
This is not a passive scheduling role — you will act as the command center of the business, responsible for keeping jobs on track, solving problems in real time, and ensuring a smooth experience for both customers and crews.

Key Responsibilities
- Dispatch and manage multiple moving crews using the Smart Moving app
- Create, assign, and update jobs (crew assignments, notes, scheduling)
- Optimize daily routes and schedules for maximum efficiency
- Communicate directly with movers and drivers throughout the day
- Monitor live job progress and resolve delays/issues immediately
- Maintain accurate CRM/job notes, statuses, and customer updates
- Act as the main point of contact between customers and crews
- Ensure every job runs professionally and on time
Requirements (Strict)
- MUST have hands-on experience with the Smart Moving app (dispatching, scheduling, job management)
- 2+ years of dispatch/logistics experience (moving industry strongly preferred)
- Strong multitasking and real-time problem-solving ability
- Excellent communication skills (clear, direct, professional)
- Comfortable handling high-volume, fast-paced operations
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Must pass a background check
