Job Title: Assembler
Job Description
As an Assembler, you will be responsible for supporting production manufacturing to meet customer deadlines. You will apply your job skills and company policies to complete a variety of tasks and develop a working knowledge of product flow and the impact of quality. This role involves routine assignments that require limited judgment, but you will receive detailed instructions for new tasks. You must operate within established policies and procedures, seeking approval for deviations.
Responsibilities
- Begin each day by reading and documenting job instructions specific to your assignment.
- Perform in-house quality checks, ensuring all parts are up to standard.
- Utilize basic hand tools such as flat head screwdrivers, torque wrenches, and Phillips screwdrivers.
- Participate in cross-training with factory members as directed.
- Adhere to the 'see something, say something' policy by documenting defective parts.
- Follow production standards and meet production goals.
Essential Skills
- Six months of manufacturing experience.
- Proficiency in using basic hand and power tools.
- Strong reading and writing skills.
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical assembly.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
- Computer skills for documentation purposes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Mechanical inclination and experience from manufacturing environments is preferred.
- Ability to sit or stand for the duration of the shift.
- Capability to frequently reach at waist level and occasionally above the head.
- Ability to carry up to 10lbs and lift up to 45lbs.
- Capacity to frequently push, pull, bend, kneel, and stoop.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
