Your Role

As a vital member of our team, you will work closely with our Medical Director, Registered Nurse, and Program Director to ensure our patients receive the best care possible. This role offers you the chance to engage directly with patients, providing them with exceptional service and support.

Essential Functions

In this role, you will:

  • Supply and administer medication as per physician orders, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
  • Conduct daily inventory checks of medication supplies.
  • Maintain precise accounting of medication supplied or administered.
  • Collect fees and perform cash reconciliation when needed.
  • Ensure proper disposal of medical waste.
  • Observe patients’ demeanor prior to dosing.
  • Verify dosages with other centers as necessary.
  • Administer lab tests and collect vital data for review.
  • Schedule and screen patients for the Medical Director.
  • Assist in collecting patient history and physical data.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all patient medical paperwork.
  • Participate in CARF preparation and state audits.
  • Interface with the public and patients, providing excellent customer service.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education/Licensure/Certification: Active LPN license in Missouri or a compact license.
  • Required Knowledge: Understanding of opiate addiction, medical terminology, and general nursing knowledge. Basic math skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) are essential.
  • Experience Required: Minimum of 1 year of direct patient contact; prior clinical experience is a plus.
