Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This is a contract opportunity perfect for talented educators with expertise in Special Education and Early Childhood Education, as well as those holding a Multi-Categorical endorsement and a current South Carolina Teaching License.

In this role, you’ll work onsite with a dedicated team, supporting students in a variety of settings—including primary schools, elementary/middle schools, and serving grades K-8. Your specialized skills in differentiated instruction and student-centered support will help shape strong educational outcomes and inclusive classroom environments.

Qualifications:

  • Active South Carolina Teaching License (required)
  • Certification in both Special Education and Early Childhood Education
  • Multi-Categorical endorsement required
  • Experience working with self-contained, resource, and multi-categorical classrooms preferred
  • Previous work with K-8 students strongly valued
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a PCD Teacher for early learning in a primary school setting
  • Provide instruction and support in a self-contained classroom (K-2)
  • Deliver resource support for students in K-8 and K-5 settings, on campus
  • Adapt teaching approaches to meet diverse learner needs
  • Maintain strong classroom management and clear documentation
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for IEP implementation and progress monitoring
