Position: Production Assistant - Materials & Sampling

Fast paced, growth oriented, Commercial Construction based 3M Prestige Platinum Window Film Business is currently seeking ​a meticulous, detail oriented Team player to join our SF team in the role of Production Assistant - Materials & Sampling.

This job will have a Trial Period of 2 Months; We are seeking a good fit to our Company Culture of exceptional service, champion level Team Player & a high performance individual with solid ethical character & moral fortitude.

You will work closely with Project Execs to coordinate the flow of work and Sales materials with the goal of growing Sales, Jobs & Projects as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency, monitor & manage returning materials, prep for upcoming jobs & forecast future projects.

You will be responsible for working independently as well as working as a Team player with other Key Stakeholders at Window Works.

This is a part-time role which can go full-time.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Materials and Production:

  • Install Planning and Preparation

  • Print Cut Sheets to distribute to technicians

  • Identify and Pull Boxes for Jobs on the calendar

  • Mark and Prep Boxes for appropriate teams

  • Collaborate with Project Management Team in a timely manner to provide Material execution

• Box Balancing and Returning

  • Verify and record returned materials into Tintpro

  • Confirm Boxes are balanced and entered into Tintpro

• Material Receiving

  • Unpack, Verify, Receive and Record Material in TintPro

  • Stock Materials received on shelves

• Sample Sending

  • Assemble, Address, Stamp and Ship samples as needed to recipient

  • Arrange appropriate transportation, routing & pick-up of Bulk or Larger Materials

• Sample Preparation

  • Cut samples from returned rolls with unused inventory

  • Properly label, organize and file samples in cabinets

  • Create Samples as needed on a regular basis

  • Monitor Samples on a regular basis and Order as needed

• Additional duties may include:

  • Warehouse maintenance

  • Facility management and updates

  • General warehouse operations

  • Supplies, procurement and maintenance (paper towels, toilet paper)

  • Light Property management and maintenance

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have work experience, minimum 1 year

• Excellent written & verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail

• Ability to prioritize & multitask with ​strong organizational skills

• Proficiency with MS Office, Google Suite and other cloud based software

• High School GED or better, preferably some College too

• Previous experience in office administration, production, answering phones or other related fields

• Tagalog & Spanish speakers a plus!

AVAILABLE SHIFTS

SHIFT 1 -

• Tuesday and Thursday
• 8a - 12pm

SHIFT 2 -

• Monday and Wednesday
• 8a - 12p

SHIFT 3 -
• Wednesday and Friday
• 8a - 12p

SALARY AND BENEFITS

• $18-$22/hr commensurate with experience
