Job DescriptionJOB SUMMARY A Tax Operations Business Analyst is sought to leverage their expertise in tax operations, data analysis, and stakeholder management to contribute to financial system operations. Key Responsibilities - Manage tax operations, including documentation (W-8/W-9 or equivalent), withholding tax (WHT), and reporting. - Perform data analysis and transaction processing within financial systems. - Identify patterns, anomalies, and relationships in complex datasets. - Define data mapping logic. - Communicate effectively and manage stakeholders. - Work with cross-functional teams (Business, Tax Advisory, Engineering). - Utilize rule engines and decision modeling tools (Drools, Signavio DMN). - Engage in testing frameworks (Fitnesse), UAT, and regression testing methodologies. Required Qualifications - 8+ years of experience - Strong understanding of Tax Operations, including documentation (W-8/W-9 or equivalent), withholding tax (WHT), and reporting - Proven experience in data analysis and transaction processing within financial systems - Ability to identify patterns, anomalies, and relationships in complex datasets, and define data mapping logic - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills - Experience working with cross-functional teams (Business, Tax Advisory, Engineering) - Familiarity with rule engines and decision modeling tools (Drools, Signavio DMN) - Strong SQL knowledge - Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail Preferred Qualifications - Exposure to testing frameworks (Fitnesse), UAT, and regression testing methodologies Education: Bachelors DegreeCompany DescriptionCompunnel Inc., established in 1994; is a leading provider of Staffing, IT/Software, e-Learning/Training, Business Intelligence, and Cloud Solutions.
