Two Speech-Language Pathologist positions are available for the upcoming school year at a middle school in La Place, LA. These contract roles involve working 37.5 hours per week, servicing students from primary age (3-year-olds through 5th grade) to middle school (6th-8th grade). The caseload spans a wide range of speech and language needs including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), health impairments, and severe/profound conditions.
Key responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and providing individualized therapy plans supporting students across varied speech and language challenges. Collaboration with educators and family members to foster effective communication development and monitoring student progress throughout the school year are central to success in this role.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Louisiana Speech-Language Pathology license (SLP-CCC, School certification preferred)
