Job Summary
As a Production Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing the production processes within our state-of-the-art facilities. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective execution of all manufacturing activities, while fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the production floor, including scheduling, task allocation, and performance monitoring
- Implement and enforce production policies, procedures, and safety protocols to maintain a safe and compliant work environment
- Identify and resolve production-related issues, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as engineering, quality, and maintenance, to optimize production processes and address bottlenecks
- Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to production team members, fostering their professional development
- Analyze production data, generate reports, and make data-driven decisions to enhance productivity and efficiency
- Ensure that all production targets, quality standards, and delivery commitments are met or exceeded
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a production supervisory or management role, preferably in a manufacturing or logistics environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team
- Proficient in the use of production management software, data analysis tools, and process improvement methodologies
- Demonstrated track record of driving operational excellence and continuous improvement
Working Conditions
This position is based in our production facility, which operates on a 24/7 schedule. The work environment involves a mix of office and production floor duties, with occasional exposure to noise, machinery, and physical demands. Flexible scheduling and the ability to work overtime may be required to meet production demands.
