Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A critical role is available for a Registered Nurse with specialized experience in cardiac catheterization labs. This travel position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic cath lab environment, focusing on a variety of advanced cardiac procedures, including left heart catheterization (LHC), right heart catheterization (RHC), transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE's), cardioversions, and peripheral interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Circulate and monitor patients throughout cardiac procedures in the catheterization lab.
- Collaborate with the medical team to ensure patient safety and optimal procedure outcomes.
- Respond effectively during cardioversion and other critical interventions.
- Participate in on-call rotations, floating, and holiday shifts as required.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active RN license.
- Minimum of 2 years cath lab nursing experience.
- Proficient in circulating and monitoring in LHC, RHC, TEEs, cardioversions, peripherals, and related cardiac procedures.
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications.
- Ability to work day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with call responsibilities (minimum 15 call days).
- Flexibility for floating and holiday shifts.
