Description
American Traveler is hiring a Travel Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist with 2+ years of experience in cardiac cath and interventional radiology procedures for a 13-week assignment in Davie, FL.
Details
- Located on the 2nd floor within the OR boundary of a hospital in Davie, FL
- Cardiac Cath Lab with 1 procedure room
- Team consists of 4 nurses and 1 Rad Tech, all on day shift
- Procedures include diagnostic cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology (all areas except neuro)
- Equipment includes GE imaging systems
- EMR: Meditech
- Rotating call required for IR only; the cath lab itself is diagnostic only
- Shift hours are 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in cardiac cath and interventional radiology
- Allied candidates must have active experience within the last 6 months in the role they are applying for
- Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted); certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
- License required if applicable
- SSN and DOB required for consideration — Canadian SSNs are not accepted
- Two professional references required (Florida state requirement)
Additional Information
- Brand new facility, open less than one year, with growing cath volumes targeting Level II designation
- OR scrubs are provided, as the lab is within the OR boundary
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded, but candidates must demonstrate recent, active experience in the specialty
