We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and collaborative Infant/Toddler Teacher who is passionate about early childhood education and understands the unique needs of our youngest learners. What You'll Do

  • Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for infants and toddlers
  • Provide responsive, nurturing care including feeding, diapering, comforting, and supporting daily routines
  • Foster children's social-emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development through meaningful interactions and play
  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate experiences that encourage exploration, curiosity, and discovery
  • Observe and document children's growth and milestones to support individualized learning and family communication
  • Build positive partnerships with families through daily communication and collaboration
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and healthy classroom environment
  • Work closely with co-teachers and administration to provide high-quality care and maintain classroom consistency
  • Follow all licensing regulations, health and safety procedures, and school policies

Qualifications

  • Minimum 12 ECE units, including Infant/Toddler Development (required)
  • At least 6 months of experience working with children under 3 years of age
  • Strong understanding of infant and toddler development
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Warm, patient, flexible, and responsive caregiving approach
  • Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and actively engage with children on the floor and playground

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field
  • Experience in a play-based early childhood program
