Job Title: Senior Military Operations Analyst / Task Lead Location: Colorado Springs, CO Clearance Required: Active Secret (Top Secret preferred) Position Type: Full-Time

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Military Operations Analyst / Task Lead to provide direct support to the 100th Missile Defense Brigade (GMD) at U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (USASMDC) in Colorado Springs, CO. The successful candidate will lead a team of analysts supporting day-to-day operations, mission planning, readiness, and strategic initiatives for Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary interface between contractor support staff and Government leadership.
  • Lead a team of analysts supporting GMD operational planning, exercise development, and mission execution.
  • Provide senior-level analytical support for current and future missile defense operations.
  • Develop briefings, white papers, and decision support tools for senior military leaders.
  • Support readiness reporting, mission analysis, and operational assessments.
  • Participate in and support Joint and Army-level exercises, including scenario development, data collection, and after-action reviews.
  • Ensure timely and accurate task execution and deliverable submission in accordance with contract requirements.
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders, including MDA, NORTHCOM, and other Department of Defense entities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., National Security, Military Studies, Operations Research); Master's preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of military operations experience, with at least 5 years in missile defense or air and missile defense operations.
  • Prior service in or direct support to a Missile Defense, GMD, or Strategic Command element highly desired.
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams in a DoD contracting environment.
  • Familiarity with military planning processes (e.g., MDMP, JOPP) and operational concepts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools; experience with classified systems and C2 tools preferred.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance required; TS/SCI eligibility strongly preferred.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience working with the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) or USASMDC.
  • Knowledge of Joint Integrated Air and Missile Defense (JIAMD) doctrine.
  • Experience developing and analyzing CONOPS, TTPs, and operational plans.
