Job Title: Glue Robot Technician

Shifts Available: 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) or 3rd shift (11pm-7am) with potential OT on Friday night or Saturday afternoon if production targets are not met

Number of Openings: 3

Pay: $26-28/hr

Location: Greer, SC 29651

Status of Hire: full-time, direct hire

Industry: automotive manufacturing

Job Description

· Required to independently troubleshoot 6-axis Kuka adhesive application robots

· Required to troubleshoot, rehome, and reset robot cells as well as repair secondary equipment and troubleshoot new / in production equipment

· Repair/replace end of arm tooling on glue robots (tips, grippers, nozzles, spray heads)

· Operate overhead crane in a safe manner

· Work closely with Maintenance Team during installs, equipment troubleshooting, and maintenance/cleaning/lubrication of robots and secondary equipment

· Recommend and participate in Continuous Improvement activities

· Always promote atmosphere of teamwork

· Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Education & Experience Requirements

· HS Diploma or GED required, vocational school coursework or Associates degree with a focus in Mechatronics or Robotics preferred

· Experience with 6-axis Kuka (or similar) robot troubleshooting and maintenance required

· Minimum 2 years’ work experience in an automotive manufacturing facility troubleshooting automated equipment

· Must have exceptional communication skills, verbal, written

· Must have proficiency with MS Office programs

· Able to work overtime as needed
