Job DescriptionOverview
Physical Therapist sought for a 13-week travel assignment in Springfield, Vermont, starting May 11, 2026. This hospital-based role offers a weekly pay range of $2,117–$2,224 with no guaranteed hours and a shift of 5x8 days. The position requires flexibility to support inpatient PT as needed and to work in a hospital setting delivering outpatient rehabilitation services.

Responsibilities
- Conduct PT evaluations and deliver treatments including manual techniques and therapeutic exercises for diagnoses seen in outpatient and inpatient settings, such as post-operative care, joint replacement, back pain, tendonitis, general deconditioning, balance and vertigo issues.
- Address orthopaedic and sports injuries, gait and balance training, fractures, sprains, dislocations, neck and back pain, and neurological disorders (e.g., stroke, Parkinson’s).
- Implement comprehensive rehabilitative programs, including progressions, home exercise plans, and patient education; collaborate with PTAs and multidisciplinary team members.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes; participate in care coordination with physicians and other clinicians.
- Be flexible to provide inpatient PT coverage as needed and treat a broad range of diagnoses seen in outpatient clinics.

Requirements
- License: New Hampshire Physical Therapy license or equivalent compact, must be uploaded with profile
- Education: Doctorate (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program
- Certification: Active BLS (AHA)
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years current PT experience; previous travel experience strongly preferred
- Credentials: NPI must be provided after start; CAQH updated after start
- EMR: CPSI EMR experience is highly preferred
- Additional: Must be able to work inpatient PT as needed; ability to treat a broad range of outpatient/inpatient diagnoses; willingness to provide timely care in a small community with limited public transport; traveler profile must include perm address and travel contact details
