At OptiCool Technologies, we are redefining how the world cools its data. As the only provider of two-phase pumped refrigerant cooling systems, we engineer solutions that push the boundaries of efficiency, scalability, and performance for modern data centers. We are currently seeking a Technical Writer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for creating clear, user-friendly documentation such as manuals, guides, create diagrams, images, and illustrations associated with the content they develop.


  • Develop and write user manuals, maintenance guides, troubleshooting instructions and installation procedures
  • Collaborate with engineers, product designers, and subject matter experts to collect technical specifications, diagrams and operational procedures
  • Translate complex technical information into clear, accessible language for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Maintain documentation standards and templates, ensuring consistency in style, terminology, and format across all materials
  • Incorporate visual aids such as diagrams, flowcharts, and schematics to illustrate system components, processes and workflow
  • Update and revise documentation to reflect product changes, new releases, or regulatory standards,
  • Ensure documentation meets compliance standards
  • Leverage data analytics and user feedback to improve usability




Requirements:

BS in Technical Communication, Engineering, HVAC

Proven experience as a technical writer in engineering, HVAX, refrigeration or related industry. 3-5 years

Proficiency in documentation tools and software

Knowledge of mechanical, electrical aspects a plus

Familiarity with technical diagrams, piping, instrumentation, and schematics a plus

Graphic Design experience

Excellent writing and editing skills, PM and organizational skills

Effective visual communication skills, including the creation of charts, diagrams, and infographics to support text
