Position Overview
The Certified Pharmacy Technician supports the pharmacist in dispensing prescriptions, managing inventory, assisting patients, and maintaining compliance with all pharmacy regulations.
We’re looking for a team player with excellent communication, multitasking, and accuracy skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently fill and label patient prescriptions.
- Assist with inventory control, ordering, and medication storage.
- Work directly with patients to answer basic questions and ensure excellent service.
- Perform insurance processing and billing tasks accurately.
- Support pharmacists in daily operations and compliance documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional pharmacy environment.
Qualifications
- Current Texas Pharmacy Technician License or Trainee registration (required).
- National certification (CPhT) preferred.
- Prior retail or community pharmacy experience a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Exceptional customer service and teamwork skills.
- Efficient, dependable, and able to handle multiple responsibilities.
